Last year, I embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure by traveling to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India to meet my in-laws and the extended Khalas family and to have a dream Indian wedding in Dhruv's home city. I collected many videos and photographs along with stories, cutural experiences, meeting amazing people and trying things I never knew existed. I stepped into a culture that was bold and vibrant, with rich culture and traditions. I visited ancient cities and witnessed the history of India with my own eyes.

Today, January 5th is my one-year wedding anniversary. I have had so many people ask about my adventures, send messages and ask questions, that I wanted to create a website just for this. To share my experiences, the culture and beautiful ways that Dhruv and I have built a perfectly blended marriage. To share how we learn, grow and merge our two separate ways of life into an amazingly beautiful marriage.

Make sure to check in often as I share not only my trips to India, but our adventures together here in America. The sometimes hysterical clash of language, cultures and routines. I also have a Southern-ese dictionary in the making which I started to help him understand just how we talk here in the Southern part of USA!
